The West County Senior Lifestyle Expo will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Greensfelder Recreation Complex at Queeny Park, 550 Weidman Rd.; Manchester, MO 63011. This year's theme is Day at the Ballpark. Free admission and free parking.
GRANT FUNDING FROM THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION (MDC) Last year, the City of Winchester received a TRIM Grant in the amount of $22,525.15 from MDC for the removal of dead and diseased trees, mulching of trees and new trees for planting in Reber Park. The work began in November, 2024. Since that time, twelve (12) trees and stumps have been removed. Twenty-eight (28) new trees are in the process of being planted. The new trees were provided by Forest Releaf and are a variety including: American Hornbeam, Eastern Redbuds, Kentucky Coffee, Flowering Dogwoods, Eastern Ninebark, Bur Oaks, American Elderberry, Sycamores, White Oak, Cypress and Post Oak. As soon as the planting is finished, they will all be mulched, and the project will be complete.
