REBER PARK
ACTIVITIES & FACILITIES

 

All municipal parks in the City of Winchester shall be closed between the hours of Dusk and 7:00 AM, and a person shall not be in the parks during those hours except as authorized by permit.

Reber ParkReber Park is located at Hillcrest and Lindy Boulevards.  Swings, slides and many other kinds of playground equipment are available for your enjoyment.  In addition to the children's playground, there is an Adult Fitness Area with equipment for a full workout.  Ballfields, picnic tables, restrooms, horseshoe pits and a pavilion with a large BBQ pit are some of the attractions to be found.

The Park is lit after dark for security; not for children and others to play.  Residents are requested to report all vandalism and/or trespassing in progress to the Ballwin Police Department immediately.  The City will follow through on any prosecution.

REBER PARK PAVILION, MULTI-PURPOSE AREA & GAZEBO: The pavilion, multi-purpose area and gazebo are available to reserve separately (or together)  from 7am - 8 pm, April through October, for special functions, family reunions, barbeques and birthday parties.  The cost to reserve the pavilion or multi-purpose area is $45, the gazebo, $30.  Reservations can be made as early as  February 1st for April 1st through October 31st.   Both residents and non-residents are eligible to reserve the facilities. 

BALLFIELDS are used for Organized League Team practice yearly as early as April until the last week of June and from August 1st through September 30th. Reservations for the two ball diamonds for Spring practices are taken at City Hall beginning 9:00 a.m. the first working day after New Year's and the first working day after July 1st for Fall practices.  Choice of time and field is on a first come, first served basis.  The permit fee is $50.   One two-hour session is available per team.  Use is limited to those teams who have a Reservation Form on file at City Hall. 

Field times are available as follows:

Weekedays:  4:00 - 6:00 PM  &  6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Saturdays:    8:00 - 10:00 AM & 10:00 AM to NOON
