ACTIVITIES & FACILITIES

All municipal parks in the City of Winchester shall be closed between the hours of Dusk and 7:00 AM and a person shall not be in the parks during those hours exect as authorized by Pavilion permit.

Reber ParkReber Park is located at Hillcrest and Lindy Boulevards.  Swings, slides and many other kinds of playground equipment are available for your enjoyment.  Ballfields, picnic tables, restrooms, horseshoe pits and a pavilion with a large BBQ pit are some of the attractions to be found.

The Park is lit after dark for security, not for children and others to play.  Residents are requested to report all vadalism and/or trespassing in progress to the St. Louis County Police Department immediately.  The City will follow through on any prosecution.

REBER PARK PAVILION may be reserved for your own personal use:  a large family picnic, family reunion, birthday party, etc.  Pavilion Reservations may be made at the City Hall April through October.  A non-refundable $30.00 fee is required when the reservation is made.  Access to the pavilion restroom and electricity are provided and a Pavilion Inspector will check the condition of the pavilion and restrooms before and after use.

BALLFIELDS are used for the Organized League Team practice yearly as early as April until the last week of June.  Reservations for the two ball diamonds are taken at City Hall beginning each January.  One two-hour session is available per team.  Use is limited to those teams who have a Reservation Form on file at City Hall.  City Hall can only accept applications that are returned by USPS 1st class mail (machine canceled).  No application will be accepted by UPS, Federal Express or any other carrier.

Field times are avalable as follows:

Weekedays:  4:00 - 6:00 PM   &   6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Saturdays:    8:00 - 10:00 AM & 10:00 AM to NOON
